First we went swimming again today and we came back home after midday. But because the Blue Mountains are only a half an hour drive away, we are still going there. We have a good look in our little book with bushwalks and find a nice short walk. We go to Wentworth Falls because they say it is a beautiful waterfall and we have not seen it yet. Daan and Fleur both fall asleep in the car, which is good so they will not be too tired when we arrive. And we did not bring the child carrier today so Daan will have to walk himself. He is really excited about that and thinks it is very cool. The walk to the lookout is not so difficult at all. It only goes downhill and that means that we have to walk back up later. The view is really beautiful and we all enjoy it. And Daan walking himself is actually going pretty good, he only sometimes does not want to hold hands, but eventually he did. We also find another walk that leads to another lookout point. There we meet a German couple that live close to Holland. She starts to talk to Fleur and Daan in Dutch and we have a really nice conversation with them. We also try another path that leads to the top of Wentworth Falls. It is a lot of fun to stand on the top of a waterfall and to see the water fall down. Really great. And we also found out that it not a bad idea to go to the Blue Mountains for only a couple of hours because there are enough short walk that are really worthwhile.
