Ons ondergrondse avontuur zit er alweer op, en zo ook bijna onze Outback vakantie. We hebben een hele dag rijden voor de boeg. We gaan helemaal naar Dubbo vandaag. We staan vandaag vroeg op om de zonsopkomst te bekijken op het dak van de Underground Motel. Helaas is het bewolkt en is er dus niet echt een zonsopkomst te zien. En het is ook nog eens super koud. Maar na even volhouden krijgen we nog wel een klein beetje zon te zien en hebben we toch nog een paar mooie foto’s. Voor we weggaan uit White Cliffs rijden we nog even langs de Solar Power Station. En we hebben geluk want er hangen wat wolken in de lucht en dat geeft nog een paar mooie foto’s. Want je kunt de lucht dan goed zien in de grote schotels. Daarna gaan we echt beginnen aan de ongeveer 650 km en bijna 8 uur (zonder de stops) rijden naar Dubbo. De rit verloopt helemaal goed. Ondweg lunchen we in Cobar en tegen de avond komen we aan in Dubbo. We hebben hier een cabin op Big 4 Dubbo Parklands Caravan Park. We proberen een beetje op tijd naar bed te gaan want het was een lange en best vermoeiende dag.

Our underground adventure is over, and even almost our Outback holiday. We have to drive the whole day today. We are going to Dubbo today. We get up early to watch the sunrise on the roof of the Underground Motel. Unfortunately it is clouded and there is not really a sunrise to see. And it is also freezing cold. But after waiting for a while we do see the sun come out of the clouds a little bit and that does give us a few nice pictures. Before we leave White Cliffs we also drive by the Solar Power Station. And we are lucky because there are clouds in the sky and that gives some nice pictures. Because you can see the reflection of the sky in the big dishes. After that we start our long trip of about 650 km and almost 8 hours (without the stops) drive to Dubbo. Everything goes well today. We have lunch at Cobar and at the end of the afternoon we arrive in Dubbo. We have a cabin on Big 4 Dubbo Parklands Caravan Park. We try to go to bed early today because it was a pretty tiring day.
