Piraten en Prinsessen themaweek bij zwemles / Pirates and Princesses theme week at swimming lessons

Bij zwemles hadden ze themaweek. Het thema was Piraten en Prinsessen. Dat hield in dat de kinderen met een kroontje op of een ooglap op naar zwemles mochten komen. Fleur vond dat (als echte meid) natuurlijk wel heel erg leuk. Ze had een kroon waarmee ze van mij wel in het water kon gaan, maar die was een beetje strak en deed pijn achter haar oren. Ik probeerde hem iets wijder te maken, maar helaas brak hij gelijk doormidden. Tranen van verdriet natuurlijk. We hebben nog in het winkelcentrum gekeken of we een nieuwe konden vinden, maar helaas. Gelukkig heeft Fleur nog wel meer kroontjes thuis en konden we een klein kroontje in haar haar doen, dat met een paar schuifspeldjes ook nog heel goed bleef zitten. Bij zwemles bleek zij de enige in haar groepje te zijn die iets op haar hoofd had, maar ze vond het zelf toch wel erg leuk. De juf heeft ook nog even haar kroon op gehad (maar zij had hetzelfde probleem als Fleur, hij was een beetje te strak) en dat was natuurlijk helemaal leuk voor Fleur. Daan had zijn piraten ooglapje mee zodat hij er ook als piraat bij kon zijn. Wij vonden het een erg leuk idee voor de zwemles.

At swimming lessons they had a theme week. The theme was Pirates and Princesses. That meant that all the children could wear a crown or an eye patch during swimming lesson. Fleur (as a real girl) thought that was very cool. She had a crown that was good to take into the water, but it was a little bit too tight and hurt behind her ears. I tried to make it a little bit wider, but unfortunately it straight away broke in half. Of course she immediately started to cry and she was very sad. We looked in the shopping centre if we could find a new one, but we did not. Luckily Fleur had more crowns at home and we used a small one that we stuck to her hair with hair pins. At swimming lessons she was the only one wearing something on her head, but she still liked it. Her teacher also wore her crown for a little while (but she had the same problem as Fleur, it was a little bit too tight) and that was even more fun for Fleur. Daan also had his pirate eye patch with him so he could look like a real pirate as well. We thought it was really nice idea to have the swimming lessons with this theme.
