Packing all the un-breakable stuff ourselves has taken a lot more of time than I expected. After a lot of trouble, on Sunday night (02.00 am) we finally had packed a lot it. Two movers came around 08.00 am (Remco and Wisam). We first showed the content our house to see what still needed to be done and then start packing. Erik and I packed some more un-breakable stuff, Remco started to take apart and pack all the big things like the beds, cupboards and the chairs downstairs. Wisam packed all the breakable stuff. Around 4 pm almost everything was packed and in our bedroom there ware only wrapped furniture and filled boxes. The kids were already in Woerden (together with aunt Sandra because grandma and grandpa are still on holiday) en we had to sleep in Fleur’s room on Monday night. There were only two wrapped cupboards. Daan’s room was filled with things we have to take with us in the plane and things we have to give to other people. Tuesday morning three movers came around 07.15 am (Remco, Wisam and Vincent). Around 10.00 am everything was packed and ready to be loaded into the container. Around 10.30 am the truck with the container arrived (which was a big moment) and we could start loading. Remco put everything neatly in the container in the right spot so it would all fit. Wisam, Vincent and Erik took all the boxes and all the other stuff down to the container. Hard work for the guys and I only had to take pictures. Loading the container went well, only Erik’s bike did not fit anymore. Remco had to hold everything together when the second container door was closed. Then the container went to the harbour, to be put a big boat. And now our house is empty. There are only some things that we did not want to take with us. If everything is going well, we will see our own things again in Australia. We will stay at grandma and grandpa (my parents) in Woerden until we leave. Also check out the pictures and see how much trouble a removal like this is.
