Vandaag kwamen ze de scheur in het plafond in de garage repareren. Om 07.10 uur stonden de mannen al voor de deur. Gelukkig waren Erik en ik net aangekleed. Er werd een groot gat gezaagd om de scheur heen. Daarna werd er een nieuw stuk plafond gezaagd van hetzelfde formaat. Dit werd in het gat vastgeplakt, daarna werden de randen gekit en werd het hele stuk twee keer geschilderd. Dit alles heeft in totaal wel 3½ uur geduurd. Maar het ziet er nu dan ook wel weer heel mooi uit. Je kunt echt niet meer zien dat er een scheur zat. Fleur heeft foto’s van dit alles gemaakt zodat jullie een beetje kunnen zien hoe dat gaat.
Today they came to repair the crack in the ceiling in the garage. At 7.10 am the guys were here. Luckily Erik and I were just dressed. They made a big hole around the crack. After that they cut a new piece of ceiling of the same size. They glued this part in the hole, after that they filled the edges and painted that part twice. This all took them about 3½ hours. But it does look very good now. You cannot see where the crack was anymore. Fleur took pictures of this all so you can see how they do this.
