Waterfall Walk in de Blue Mountains

Ondanks dat pa na die zware wandeling heeft gezegd dat hij niet meer met ons gaat wandelen in de Blue Mountains, gaan we vandaag de Waterfall Walk lopen, in de Blue Mountains. Het is heerlijk weer en bij de watervallen is het altijd lekker koel. Er is niet zo heel veel water in de watervallen, maar ze zien er toch nog wel mooi uit. We zien nog een aantal mooie lizards onderweg. En bij een van de watervallen komen mensen vissen naar yabbies (kleine kreeftjes). Ze doen een stukje worst aan een touwtje en vangen zo aardig wat yabbies. We gaan hier dus nooit met de blote voeten in het water, ook niet omdat er ook een aal in het water zit. Het is niet zo’n hele makkelijke wandeling, maar er zijn onderweg zoveel plekken om even te stoppen en te genieten van de mooie natuur en de rust en stilte, dus het is een heerlijke wandeling. Lekker spelen bij de watervallen en in de grotten is natuurlijk altijd leuk. We genieten van deze heerlijke dag in de natuur.

Even though my dad said that he would never go for a walk in the Blue Mountains with us again, after that tough walk, we are going to do the Waterfall Walk, in the Blue Mountains. The weather is wonderful and at the waterfalls it is always nice and cool. There is not a lot of water in the waterfalls, but they still look very good. We also see a few lizards on our way. And at one of the waterfalls there are people fishing for yabbies (little lobsters). They put a piece of sausage on a string and they catch quite a few yabbies. We will never go barefoot intp the water here, especially because there is an eel in the water as well. The walk is not very easy, but there are a lot of spots to stop on the way and enjoy the beautiful nature and the peace and quiet, so it is a very nice walk. And playing near the waterfalls and in caves is always a lot of fun. We enjoy this wonderful day in nature.
