De afgelopen dagen hebben we al veel spullen uitgepakt en gezorgd dat we de slaapkamers, de keuken en de woonkamer een beetje op orde hebben zodat we in ieder geval al in het huis kunnen gaan wonen. En vandaag is het dan zover. We pakken alle spullen in die we in het appartement hebben en Erik rijdt een keer extra op en neer naar het huis om alvast spullen daar neer te zetten. We hebben nu namelijk nog meer spullen dan toen we naar Australië toegingen. We hebben er natuurlijk ook ruim vijf weken gewoond. Dan heb je ook veel etenswaren en andere spullen gekocht en dat moet nu natuurlijk ook allemaal mee naar het huis. Aan het einde van de dag is bijna alles verhuisd naar het nieuwe huis. We eten nog even een keer in het appartement omdat het daar lekker opgeruimd is en dan vertrekken we naar ons nieuwe huis. Dag appartement, het was leuk, maar nu gaan we proberen een nieuw leven op te bouwen in een fijn huis in (hopelijk) een leuke wijk.
The past days we have unpacked a lot of stuff and made sure that the bedrooms, the kitchen and the living room are all set so we can move into the house. And today is the day. We pack all the stuff that we have in the apartment and Erik drives to the house on extra time to already bring some things. That is because we have even more things than when we arrived in Australia. We did live there for a bit more than five weeks. Then you buy a lot of food and other stuff and we have to take that to our house as well. At the end of the day almost everything has moved to our new house. We have dinner in the apartment because there it is tidy and after that we go to our new house. Goodbye apartment, it was fun, but now we are going to try to build a new life in a nice house in a (hopefully) nice neighbourhood.
